The visitors have put a massive inroad in the match with a terrific lead of 162 runs at the end of 2nd day’s play. India handed two debuts as both Jaiswal and Kishan got their first Red ball caps.
Yashasvi Jaiswal has made a dream start as the southpaw scored a debut century on Thursday to become only the 17th Indian to do so. He is currently unbeaten on 143 and looking good to add to his tally on the 3rd day.
Another debutant Ishan Kishan has also done his bits with the glove. Kishan came in for wicketkeeper KS Bharat and was clean with his glove work on a slow deck. He picked up 2 catches in the innings, and made the stump mic busy with his words.
Kishan was chirpy around the wicket and kept on chatting with the close in fielders throughout the West Indies innings.
And the player was caught doing a hilarious banter with fellow debutant Yashasvi Jaiswal.
During the flag end of the West Indies inning, Kishan warned Yashasvi Jaiswal that India captain Rohit Sharma may again show his wrath on him.
“Arre Rohit Bhai phir gaali denge tereko, phir bolenge issi liye pukaar raha hoon main (Hey Rohit bhai will again abuse you, that’s why I am calling you here before he says something),” Kishan was caught saying Jaiswal.

Jaiswal was seen then coming to the offside and took his position at the silly point region.
But after his brilliant batting, Jaiswal got a tight hug from his captain. The 21-year-old was excellent with the willow on his debut and will be hoping to get to his double hundred on Friday.
