To say that this weekend was an emotional one for me would be a gross understatement. For the first time since I was 11 years old – 21 YEARS AGO! – my beloved Seattle Mariners are headed to the postseason.
With their invite to the postseason as a wild card team, the Mariners have now ended the longest active playoff drought in all major North American sports.
Unfortunately for these teams, they now take on the title as the some of the most difficult teams to root for.
