After spending his first six NBA seasons with the Memphis Grizzlies, Dillon Brooks is off to Houston.
Brooks was a teammate of Ja Morant for the last four years with Memphis, as the Grizzlies made the jump to contenders in the Western Conference.
Morant showed his love and appreciation for the 27-year-old wing on Twitter Sunday, shortly after the Grizzlies thanked Brooks in a tweet.

Brooks is coming off a season in which he averaged 14.3 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game and further established himself as one of the biggest “pests” in the NBA.
Brooks also shot a career-worst 39.6% from the field this past season, which is something the Rockets are hoping he improves on.
Houston has an abundance of young talent, but needs some veterans to add to the mix, which is why they targeted Brooks in a trade and signed Fred VanVleet, Jeff Green and Jock Landale in free agency.
