Jackson Warne has shared the final photograph he took with his late dad Shane as he marks his first Father’s Day without the cricket legend.

Sharing each other’s cheeky grins, Jackson and Shane are seen wearing matching caps as they played poker together for what would be the final time.

Just eight days later, the 52-year-old spin king’s unresponsive body was found in a Thai villa. He was pronounced dead from a heart attack on March 4.

Six months to the day since the Test great’s death, 23-year-old Jackson shared his tribute to his dad with his 92,000 Instagram followers.

“This was the last photo we ever took together,” he wrote.

“24.2.2022. Doing something that we both loved. Playing poker.

“Miss ya mate. Happy Father’s Day. ♥️”

Shane’s long list of celebrity mates were among those to offer their condolences to Jackson, including SAS Australia hardman Ant Middleton, who led the show when Jackson was a contestant.
