Even a rookie could have easily told that releasing a film featuring Swara Bhaskar in theatres would be an extremely bad idea. The movie features Meher Vij, Shikha Talsania, Pooja Chopra, and Girish Pandey as additional leads & it goes without saying, it is not a powerful cast that can pull audiences to the theatres.
It’s surprising that Jahan Chaar Yaar isn’t excruciating to see. However, it doesn’t appear like the gender declaration is moving in the desired direction. That’s Goa. The four (on paper) scary females are left as bewildered as the audience when the film subsequently turns into a puzzling enigma. Makers have to understand that at a time when big-budget starters like Samrat Prithviraj, Laal Singh Chaddha & Bachchan Pandey are not doing well in cinemas, how can one expect movies like Jahan Chaar Yaar to bring audiences to the theatres? OTT is the best route for low-budget films like Jahan Chaar Yaar.
