HARARE magistrate Marewanazvo Gofa has postponed judgement in a case jailed Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) lawmaker Job Sikhala is accused of disturbing investigations into the murder of the opposition activist, Moreblessing Ali.

Gofa said she needs time to go through closing submissions which were submitted this morning.

Judgement will now be handed down on May 3.

“I only received the accused’s closing submissions this morning and I have not had time to go through them. This matter will thus be postponed to May 3 for ruling, ” said the magistrate.

Sikhala is accused of interfering with Ali’s murder investigations after allegedly calling for justice over her killing.
