Jake Paul backed to beat Paddy Pimblett for three reasons

Jake Paul has been backed to beat Paddy Pimblett in a boxing match by UFC fighter Terrance McKinney. The American says that Paul is too big, has better defence and is a cleaner boxer all around.

The pair have been at each other’s throats recently after the Liverpudlian accused Paul of fight-fixing. Pimblett claims that all but one of The Problem Child’s fights – his rematch against Tyron Woodley – are rigged.

Taking exception to his comments, Paul challenged Pimblett to a sparring session at his base camp in Puerto Rico. To which, Pimblett responded in an interview with BT Sport: “If you wanna have a fight with me, let’s get it on. Get your manager to talk to my manager, we’ll sort it through the UFC and through everyone you wanna sort it with. It won’t be on your terms like you do with everyone else. You’ll have to do a drug test, and we’ll see.”

But McKinney doesn’t fancy Pimblett’s chances against the ex-Disney actor. “I think Paul has a better defence than Pimblett, honestly,” he told Best Sports Betting Canada. “They need to make that happen, I’m down to watch. Three rounds, I’m going to have to go with Jake Paul. He’s too big, he’s got a better defence and honestly a cleaner boxer all round.”

Paul remains undefeated in his professional boxing career at 6-0 having beaten a plethora of MMA fighters, YouTubers and an NBA player. His next opponent is yet to be announced although there are plenty of options available to him.

MMA icon Nate Diaz is in consideration having recently been released from his UFC contract. Meanwhile, a third attempt at making the long-awaited grudge match with Tommy Fury is also being thrashed out.

The final option and perhaps most sought after is an influencer super fight with controversial entrepreneur Andrew Tate. Although, Tate recently revealed that negotiations are stalling on multiple terms.
