Jake Paul has put his own spin on the slogan of former American president Donald Trump by sporting a hat emblazoned with “Make Boxing Great Again”.
The YouTube star has arrived in the UK to promote the historic clash between Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano.
Paul has attracted huge interest in the boxing world since launching his own professional career but plans to take a back seat while he focuses on staging the clash.
With duties split with co-promoter Eddie Hearn, Paul has been seen at the Madison Square Garden press conference alongside the Matchroom Boxing promoter.
He will now face the media in London as he continues to represent his client Serrano who was signed to his label Most Valuable Promotions last year.
Hearn previously promoted Paul’s professional debut against AnEson Gib and will work alongside the undefeated fighter for the second time to promote the event.
With hype around the event growing, Hearn believes working alongside Paul to promote the event is an “asset” to creating a historic event.
“I’m using Jake Paul in this fight,” Hearn told Mirror Fighting . “And he knows that because he’s using us to get more money for his fighter.
“He’s going to be a massive asset to this fight because it’s for history; it’s the moment that women’s boxing gets accepted as just boxing to the wider global audience.
“Yes, I can preach to them and DAZN can preach to them, but Jake speaks to a different set of fans who can actually come in, watch, fall in love with and help grow the sport.
“So I’m just going to stand up there and say ‘as far as I understand, this is the second coming of Muhammad Ali, the greatest promoter of all time and just let him go.”

Paul has made a name for himself in boxing as he continues to fight his way along a plan to become world champion.
The 25-year-old has defeated Ben Askren and former UFC champion Tyron Woodley twice in a year that has helped him generate an estimated worth of $40million from the sport.
He has continued to take a campaigning approach to increase the pay for fighters across the sport and in the UFC and has even challenged UFC president Dana White’s pay structure.
Paul has been paired with a number of opponents since his last fight in December including Mike Tyson with reports claiming a deal was ‘verbally agreed’.
However this has since been ruled out by the pair as Paul continues his search for another high-profile rival.
But any search will not be completed until after his promotion of Taylor’s clash with Serrano, as he plans to make a return in August or September this year.
