Jake Paul has shot down the idea of a rearranged fight between him and Tommy Fury, after the Love Island star withdrew from their scheduled bout with illness and injury

Jake Paul has cast serious doubt on a boxing fight between him and Tommy Fury ever taking place after issuing a blunt message to his bitter rival.
After a heated war of words that has raged throughout 2021, ‘The Problem Child’ and Fury were finally due to settle their differences inside a ring this Saturday, in Tampa, Florida.
The ill-feeling was clearly evident after both fighters began their training camps, aiming constant online jibes at each other while Tyson and John Fury, the older brother and father of Tommy, also hurled ample verbal insults in Paul’s direction.
However, just days after publicly pleading with his rival not to pull out of the clash, Fury, 22, faced the embarrassment of having to announce his withdrawal, citing a broken rib and a bacterial chest infection.

The former Love Island star has been widely ridiculed for his climbdown, which left Paul, 24, less than two weeks to find a replacement opponent.
He duly did so in the form of former UFC fighter Tyron Woodley, who Paul beat via a split decision in August after the pair had shared an intense eight-round contest.
John Fury has demanded that once that fight is done, the YouTuber restarted negotiations with his son for a possible bout in February 2022, but that notion has seemingly been quashed by Paul – who will be looking to take his professional record to 5-0 this weekend.
Paul told Showtime TV: “I don’t think a fight will ever happen. I don’t wanna give him the opportunity. He had his shot.
“I’d like to see him have to fight 20 more times to even get the same payday he was gonna get vs me. Sorry Tommy, it’s not gonna happen.”
As well as his win over Woodley, Paul has thus far defeated fellow YouTuber AnEsonGib, former basketball player Nate Robinson, and another MMA fighter in Ben Askren. His bout with Fury was set to represent his first bout with a full-time boxer.
Despite his fighter taking the clash at short notice, Woodley’s coach Pedro Diaz thinks that might play into the hands of the 39-year-old, and predicted Paul was “going to move a lot more in this fight” after encountering problems when he tried to go toe-to-toe with Woodley first time around.
