Jake Paul’s girlfriend Julia Rose responds to John Fury’s vulgar comments

Rose has claimed that it reflects badly on Fury Sr’s character after his comments aimed at the pair, but has admitted it gave her and Paul the platform to laugh it off and make social media content

Julia Rose insists she laughed off John Fury’s vulgar comments aimed at herself and partner Jake Paul.

Paul was set to face British star Tommy Fury in a grudge match which was later postponed when Fury withdrew with a broken rib and chest infection.

At a press conference previewing the cancelled showdown, Fury’s father John launched a scathing assault aimed at Paul and Rose.

“When Tommy beats you he is going to get your girlfriend and do her like a dog in front of you,” Fury Sr shouted at the press conference.

“If you don’t like it change the television channel. You are the idiot for taking this fight and you are getting it you bum. Enjoy the moment p****. Dream on d***head.”

Rose has now responded to the comments claiming it showed Fury Sr’s “real character” but was ultimately unaffected by the rant.

“At the end of day I think it says more about him than it does about me,” Rose told Boxing Social. “If you are willing to say that about someone’s girlfriend it shows your character not really mine.

“But I’m fine with it, me and Jake made a couple of TikTok videos to have a laugh with it, but other than it does not affect me at all.”

Rose has frequently been brought into the feud by the pair in addition to Fury’s partner Molly Mae Hague.

But Fury Sr was widely criticised for his verbal attack with BT Sport later apologising for his outburst.

He later doubled down on his comments vowing to “drop” anyone who disrespects the Fury family.

“He is just a cheeky lad with no respect for real fighters,” Fury Sr previously told Queensberry Promotions. “And Tommy is going to hurt him I will tell you that now and if he doesn’t I won’t speak to him.

“Isn’t he a horrible lad though? But I am a horrible man so touche, it is a pity that I can’t get to America but I will say one thing.

“Anyone who thinks I am a loud mouth and invades my space, I will drop them where they stand no matter who they are.

” Jake Paul or anybody who tries to disrespect me and my family will is getting it there and then, and there will be no backwards steps from me at all. I will back up what I say.”
