Jalen Rose addressed the latest Draymond Green controversy on ESPN this afternoon.
Rose said that Green deserved to be ejected from the Golden State Warriors’ Game 2 loss to Sacramento Monday night after he stomped on the chest of Kings star Domantas Sabonis. Green did so after Sabonis grabbed his ankle, which resulted in the Sacramento big man being hit with a technical foul.
Rose agreed with the punishments for both players and said that in the future, Green has to respond differently.
“An action deserves a reaction, and Draymond Green must respond different as a champion, as a seasoned veteran in that situation,” Rose said. “Understand his importance to the team but more importantly how his team has struggled on the road the entire season. Now, all of a sudden, those last seven minutes, your team needs to perform without you, they weren’t able to get it done.”

The NBA has yet to announce whether or not Green will be suspended for Game 3 in San Francisco on Thursday.
Golden State could probably use him, considering they now trail 2-0 in the series. Even if the Warriors win their three home games against the Kings, they will still need to pull off one victory on the road to advance to the second round.
