James Harden reportedly wants out of Philadelphia, and he reportedly has one team in mind that he’d like to join next season. Harden is said to favor a move to the Los Angeles Clippers to play alongside Kawhi Leonard and Paul George.
Harden, a California native, would also be playing close to home for the first time in his NBA career.
Harden’s current team, the Philadelphia 76ers, have reportedly been seeking ways to keep Harden on the roster as they attempt to regroup after last season’s early exit from the NBA playoffs.
The 76ers believe they can keep Harden, but the former league MVP may already have one foot out of the door if his social media accounts are any indication.

Harden has removed any mention of the 76ers from his bios on both Twitter and Instagram.
That doesn’t necessarily indicate that a move is close to being made or that he won’t decide to return to Philadelphia, but it does shed some light on what Harden may be thinking in the middle of the NBA offseason.
The NBA is in a bit of a holding pattern as teams wait to see what will happen with Damian Lillard’s trade request away from the Portland Trail Blazers.
If and when Lillard is traded, expect Harden to receive a lot of that attention as the league’s next big trade target.
