A Japanese man who spent £12,000 on a border collie costume has shown his new life as a four-legged animal, playing with dog toys and receiving tummy rubs.
The man, who goes by the name Toco, spent two million Yen (around £12,000) on the ultra-realistic costume to fulfil his lifelong fantasy of becoming one of man’s best friends.
Toco has now updated his almost 24,000 YouTube subscribers with a video revealing how he is taken for walks. The clip also shows him cozying up inside his cage and receiving belly rubs.
Toco commissioned the costume last year from manufacturer Zeppet and has since enjoyed life as a dog. It took the company 40 days to put the state of the art costume together.
Despite enjoying his four legged life, Toco revealed he still hasn’t shared his hobby with some of his friends as he doesn’t want them to think he’s weird.

In his latest update, so far seen by almost half-a-million people on YouTube, Toco was seen walking around a house on all fours. He received head scratches before playing with a dog rope.
He was also seen sitting inside his cage and snuggling up for a nap. Another section of the video showed Toco rolling on the floor before he was given belly rubs.
He was even seen being taken for a walk fit with a harness and lead.
Toco has previously spoke out about his love of the four-legged life.
‘I made it a Collie because it looks real when I put it on.’
‘I thought that a big animal close to my size would be good – considering that it would be a realistic model, so I decided to make it a dog.’
But in an exclusive interview with MailOnline last year, Toco admitted that he still didn’t have to confidence to tell some of his closest friends about his hobby.
‘I rarely tell my friends because I am afraid they will think I am weird,’ he said. ‘My friends and family seemed very surprised to learn I became an animal.’
Toco said he likes his four-legged life as he enjoys ‘doing things that only dogs do’.
In previous updates, Toco has attempted an outdoor walk. He said in a YouTube video documenting the experience he felt ‘nervous and a little scared’.
‘I’m wearing a leash because people are surprised when they see me. I’m very nervous,’ he said in a video last year.
‘Do you remember your dreams from when you are little? You want to be a hero or a wizard.
‘I remember writing in my grade school graduation book that I wanted to be a dog and walk outside.’

Toco has previously told of how he also likes to feel the wind in his fur and roll around in the backyard.
He said he also wears sandals to protect his feet and the bottom of the costume from getting dirty, after splashing out £12,000 on getting the costume made.
His now viral videos have attracted likeminded fans.
One commented on his most recent video: ‘I had just discovered your channel today, but after watching a lot of your videos I was really drawn to them and honestly I think of it’s pretty wholesome, especially since you’re fulfilling your childhood dream which is amazing! Keep up the good work and adorable content!’
Another wrote: ‘Though people say this is weird and not normal (it isn’t but still cool) it isn’t harming anyone and it makes them happy, the suit is also very realistic omg.’
Another said: ‘Isn’t something you would see everyday, but it’s unique, so thumbs up for that.’
