NEW DELHI: India pacer Jasprit Bumrah was on Monday ruled out of the three-match one-day international (ODI) series against Sri Lanka, as reported by PTI.
Bumrah, has been out of action due to a stress reaction to his back since the Australia T20Is at home last year, was named in the ODI squad for the ODI series, starting January 10.
The first ODI of three-match series will be played on January 10 at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati. The iconic Eden Gardens in Kolkata will host the second game on January 12 and the third ODI will be played on January 15 at the Greenfield International Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram.
India recently defeated Sri Lanka 2-1 in the T20I series.
