Jawaher Al Qasimi restructures FOKP’s board

SHARJAH, 14th December, 2022 (WAM) – The wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs in Sharjah, issued an administrative decision to form the Board of Directors of the Friends of Kidney Patients Association, headed by Mona Al Hawai Al Zarooni.

This came after reviewing Federal Law No. 2 of 2008 regarding civil associations and institutions of public interest, the Emiri Decree regarding the reorganisation of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs in Sharjah, and Administrative Resolution No. 5 of 2010 regarding the restructuring of the Health Promotion Department.

The decision stipulated that the term of the Board of Directors be four years, starting from its first meeting. The Board shall resume its duties once its period ends until Sheikha Jawaher appoints a new Board.
