Jayson Tatum is reportedly recruiting one of the top point guards in the league to join him in Boston.
Portland TrailBlazers point guard Damian Lillard wants out.
Lillard, one of the top players in the NBA, has remained loyal to Portland his entire career. However, he’s now reportedly demanding a trade out of Portland.
Something many don’t get is that Damian Lillard only wants out of Portland because the Blazers CANNOT build a contender around him.
So, of course, he wants to land with a contender.
Attempting to trade him to a non-contender would be unseemly.

While Lillard doesn’t appear to be interested in playing in Boston, Tatum is doing his best to change that.
“On NBA Today, Marc Spears of ESPN and Andscape shared he’s heard Jayson Tatum is recruiting Damian Lillard to join the Celtics,” the report states.
Lillard joining forces with Tatum in Boston would form quite a power duo in the Eastern Conference.
But would the Celtics have to give up Jaylen Brown to get him?
