The level of difficulty as per feedback from students on 24th January 2023 (Afternoon Session).
Mathematics – Moderate. Weightage was given to chapters of Algebra- like Permutation & Combination, Progression & Series, Statistics, Complex Numbers, Binomial, Matrices, Determinants, Vectors & 3D Geometry. In Co-ordinate Geometry questions asked from Straight Lines & Circles. In Calculus -Differential Equations, Definite Integral & Functions. Few Numerical Based questions required lengthy calculations. This section was also tricky as per students.
Physics – Easy level. Questions were asked from almost all chapters with few good questions from Work, Power & Energy, Wave Optics, Electrostatics, EM Waves, Modern Physics, Kinetic Theory of Gases, Magnetism, Kinematics, Heat & Thermodynamics. Numerical-based questions were easy. It was a balanced section.
Chemistry – Easy to Moderate level. Inorganic Chemistry was given less weightage as compared to Organic & Physical Chemistry. In Physical Chemistry, questions were asked about Chemical Kinetics, Ionic Equilibrium, and atomic Structure. Organic Chemistry had questions from Amines, Aldehyde & Ketones, and General Organic Chemistry. Inorganic Chemistry was tricky but from NCERT. Overall, this section was Easy to Moderate.
In terms of order of Difficulty – Mathematics was Moderate, Chemistry was Easy to Moderate, and physics was reported Easy among the three subjects. Overall, this paper was of Moderate level as per students.
