They are back to solve another mystery this time, with more laughter, action, drama, suspense, and suspects. In a virtual roundtable interview with PTI, Adam Sandler also said that Aniston “looked stunning” in the lehenga. “Thank you, sweetheart,” she responded during the interview. “It was extremely heavy and I wasn’t expecting that. So much respect for all the beautiful women of India who have to not only wear it, but dance their b**** off. We had a really good time.”
In a beautifully embroidered lehenga outfit with touches of sequin and pearl accents, Jennifer Aniston radiated elegance. A similar lehenga skirt and dupatta, which she slung over one shoulder, completed her look. The actress not only went desi with her sartorial choice but also with her styling moves. She styled the Manish Malhotra lehenga with a statement pair of chandbali earrings. That’s not all. She also sported a delicate pair of haathphools. Jennifer, who looked ethereal in the traditional Indian wear, completed her look with a statement messy bun.
Murder Mystery 2 kicks off about four years after solving their first murder mystery, Nick and Audrey Spitz (Adam Sandler, Jennifer Aniston) are now full-time detectives struggling to get their private eye agency off the ground when they’re invited to celebrate the wedding of their friend the Maharaja (Adeel Akhtar) on his private island. But trouble follows the Spitzes again when the groom is kidnapped for ransom soon after the festivities begin — making each glamorous guest, family member, and the bride herself a suspect. MURDER MYSTERY 2 sends Nick and Audrey Spitz on a high-stakes case that finally gives them everything they’ve ever dreamed of: a shot at their detective agency finally becoming successful…and their long-awaited trip to Paris.
The film is directed by Jeremy Garelick and also stars Mark Strong, Mélanie Laurent, Jodie Turner-Smith, Kuhoo Verma, with John Kani, and Dany Boon. The film releases on March 31.
