The baggier the better is the rule for pants these days, and Jennifer Lopez shows how even office-appropriate dress slacks can look low-key when given a wide-legged silhouette. The star of The Mother was pictured out-and-about in Los Angeles in a pair of oversized trousers dressed down with a few style choices straight from the mid-aughts.

Jennifer Lopez’s black trousers have a currently-trending low rise, with generous pleats at the waist for a little extra volume. She paired the pant with a tucked in white cami and cropped black cardigan, along with black flats and a sleek Coach bag (for which she is a brand ambassador). She finished the look with shades, a high pony, and plenty of gold and diamond jewellery.

In case you needed any more proof that the days of skinny jeans were long gone, this would be it. Oversized trousers, sometimes referred to has “puddle pants,” have been seen on all the fashion elite recently, from Emma Chamberlain to Emily Ratajkowski to Hailey Bieber. Lopez herself has been seen rocking baggy bottoms for at least a year now, such as the wide-legged jeans she was pictured in back in April of 2022.

While her most history-making looks tend to fall on the high-glam end of the fashion spectrum, Jennifer Lopez proves that she can make off-duty ‘fits look just as stylish.
