Leave it to Jennifer Lopez to completely send her fan base into a nostalgic musical time lapse. On Friday, November 25, she announced a “musical experience” is underway in 2023 with an Instagram video that showcased her long brunette hair blowing in the wind.
Lopez is setting forth the next chapter of her musical career with a new album titled This Is Me… Now. In the video she shared on Instagram, she first recreates the iconic album cover of her 2002 studio album, This Is Me… Then. The look pays an ode to the 20th anniversary of her then-released third studio album cover as she poses with her wispy layered locks falling at shoulder length while accessorizing with the blush pink hat that graced the album cover as well.
As she removes the hat from atop her head, Lopez’s hair instantly transforms into a middle-parted, auburn-hued, long-layered mane. Her hairstylist gave her dark brunette hair color a touch of red undertones and styled the look with one side of her hair draping down from over her right shoulder.
