Jennifer Lopez’s Ponytail Is Long Enough to See Itself Become the Villain

Although Jennifer Lopez changes up her hairstyle pretty frequently, she never strays too far from her core look of caramel and honey highlights on loose waves that hit mid-back. But when her hair goes from long to much longer, it never fails to pleasantly surprise.

J. Lo arrived at the June 12 Hollywood premiere of The Flash, which features husband Ben Affleck as Batman (or one of them, at least), looking gorgeous in a Gucci ensemble with an apricot skirt that complemented the color of her lipstick (applied by makeup artist Ash Holm) and her Tom Bachik manicure.

It’s her hair that drew the most attention, however. At first glance, from straight on, it’s a classic, tightly slicked-back, elegant look. But it’s not until Lopez turns to the side that you get a glimpse at just how remarkably long her sleek ponytail is. Starting at the center of the back of her head, it hits right at the waist, flipping up ever so slightly at the end of it’s otherwise super-straight finish.

If DC Comics-style science fiction was available to us in real life, Lopez could’ve used that magic to make her hair grow several inches overnight. Instead, some damn good extensions were involved in creating this look. Hairstylist Jesus Guerrero — who regularly styles Kylie Jenner and Katy Perry — made sure no hair was out of place, resulting in an understated elegance.
