It may be called the Halftime show, but Jennifer Lopez doesn’t do anything half way — which is why she has two manicures planned for Super Bowl Sunday.
Ahead of Sunday’s performance, Lopez’s go-to nail artist Tom Bachik spoke to Allure about how he designed the night’s multiple nail looks.
“We didn’t know until this afternoon which nails we were going to go with, he says. “The good news is, we decided to go with both.”
Lopez will perform in an all-Versace ensemble with “a couple of wardrobe changes,” says Bachik. He had to design a nail look that fit the overall vibe, so they settled on an abstract design.
During the show, she’ll be wearing clear nails with a line of silver foiling down the center and surrounded by Swarovski crystals “just to give it that sparkle.” The crystals give the mani a shattered glass look, which Bachik then broke up with white pinstripes.
