Priya Ahuja Rajda and Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal are known for their popular television show `Taarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashmah.` The duo are now teaming up again for the first time in 15 years on something other than `Taarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashmah.` Paras Chhabra from `Bigg Boss 13` will be making his come back with the same project that is a music video for Ganpati.
Priya and Jennifer shared their experiences about their song and also spoke about the fun they had on the set. Priya said, “Jennifer and my vanity van was next to each other so we felt like we are meeting after a short break. We helped each other get ready for the shoot just like we used to do during our `Taarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashmah` days.”
Jennifer said, “It`s a beautiful song about Ganpati and we are very lucky to make a comeback with such a song. We begin everything new with Ganpatiji and same was the case here. It`s a rocking song that also features Paras Chabrra. I was so excited to shoot with Priya and that too for something that`s very different and similar at the same time like our previous show `Taarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashmah.` On a parting note, she said with a laugh “Khub jamegi jab mil baithenge diwane teen.”
According to our sources, the USP of the song is that it also highlights the battles that the three actors are fighting on their respective personal or professional front. There is a particular sequence where you can see Paras in a highly frustrating mode, which sheds light on his life post his breakup with Mahira Sharma. There are sequences wherein Jennifer and Priya can be seen extending their support to each other which highlights the turmoil they went through post which Jennifer quit `Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.`
Jennifer has filed a complaint against producer Asit Kumar Modi, Project Head Sohail Ramani and executive producer Jatin Bajaj for alleged sexual harassment at the workplace. Jennifer also revealed that the producers also treated her differently on the sets and did not make arrangements for her like they used to do for her male co-stars. The actor labelled the sets of `TMKOC` as `male chauvinistic`.
