Jerry West is among the greatest basketball players ever, earning him a spot in the Hall of Fame because of it.
So the opinion of a 14-time All-Star and NBA champion carries plenty of weight.
While appearing on the Dan Patrick Show, the NBA’s 75th Anniversary Team member was asked for his all-time starting lineup.
West would only name three players.
“Well, there are three players who would be on there right away,” West said. “One of them presently playing in LeBron James. Kobe Bryant and Michael Jordan. I would take those three players because of the uniqueness of the game today. It’s almost a position-less league.
“Those three players would fit in beautifully. All of them could probably play three positions, and they have. The greatness of them as players drives other people. They’re the people that get it done when it counts most.
Jordan, James, and Bryant are considered each the GOAT by fans worldwide.
