Jersey Day 2 Box Office Collection: Shahid Kapoor Starrer Sandwiched Between RRR & KGF 2 – See Latest

Shahid Kapoor’s Jersey eventually premiered in theatres on April 22 after several delays owing to the unique coronavirus epidemic. While critics praised the film’s intention and Shahid’s performance, the film’s box office result was ordinary. With the poignant film Jersey, Shahid Kapoor has demonstrated his acting chops. The picture, however, had a poor start at the box office. The film’s initial earnings were set at ₹4 crores, however according to box office sources, it had a mediocre debut and had minimal attendance in theatres. 

The movie has failed to rake in the desirable numbers so far, day 2 of the movie is also expected to be lukewarm. The main reason behind this would be the continuing successfull run of Southern giants like KGF 2 & RRR. Both of these movies are breaking records after records & drawing a huge pool of spectators. Jersey is a Hindi adaptation of the Telugu film of the same name starring Nani. Jersey, directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, who also directed the original, stars Shahid Kapoor as a cricketer whose aspirations of playing for his country come true in his forties. He decides to return to the field in order to win his son’s respect, despite the fact that the rest of the world regards him as a failure. Mrunal Thakur also appears in the film.
