Jill Duggar’s sisters didn’t post pictures at her baby shower — and now Jessa Duggar is “angry” at social media trolls for assuming she didn’t attend.
The pregnant 31-year reality star’s cousin Amy Duggar shared party photos on Instagram Thursday, gushing about what “an honor” it was to host the bash.
Jessa, 29, commented, “It was so fun celebrating this new life,” with Amy, 35, replying, “Loved seeing you!”
When a hater commented that Amy’s social media upload made it look as if Jessa and her sisters missed Jill’s event, Jessa clapped back.
“Please let’s not assume there’s a negative motive behind everything we do and do not do,” the “Counting On” alum wrote.
“These rumors make me angry, and I’m here to put a stop to it,” she continued. “The narrative these kinds of comments put forward is a false one. Simply not true.”
The ex-reality star explained that “pretty much everyone else was out of town whether for a wedding, family reunion, or beach trip” during Jill’s festivities.
“Summertime is busy and you cannot always coordinate 19+ schedules. Anyone with more than one adult kid should know that,” Jessa wrote. “My mom [Michelle Duggar] and all of us sisters + SIL love her dearly and she knows that!”
Jessa explained that she and Jill spend “plenty of time together even if there aren’t photos circulating on the internet to prove it.”
The former TLC personality concluded by asking her followers to “quit spreading hate” and “stop this nonsense” since Jill “has family support” amid her pregnancy.
Amy chimed in, “We had a beautiful turn out and enjoyed just being in the moment. There wasn’t any drama and Jill was glowing!”
Jill celebrated her baby shower last month, five months after announcing that baby No. 3 is on the way.
She and husband Derick Dillard are already the parents of sons Israel, 7, and Samuel, 5.
Jessa, for her part, shares Spurgeon, 6, Henry, 5, Ivy, 3, and Fern, 11 months, with her husband, Ben Seewald.
