Jessika Power’s eye-watering spending habits have caused a storm after she took to social media to reveal a month-by-month break down from her bank statement.
In some months the former Married At First Sight star spent more than most people earn in an entire year.
Tagging her Instagram post with: “???????? funny money ???? living my best life ????”, Power infuriated some of her followers who accused her of bragging.
Across the year, Power spent an incredible $372,000, with her monthly totals revealing a wild spending spree.
In January she spent $16,061, February $14,067, April $17,180, May 16,313, June$ $13,425, July $15,879, August $6798, September $57,341, October $ $74, 529, November $106, 907, December $28, 072.
But everyone wanted to know what on earth she spent $106,907 on in November – her most expensive month.
Power detailed some of the big ticket items she splurged on that month including $10,000 on a one-way ticket to the UK.
“I gave away $11,000 to my followers on Instagram for Christmas, my dad’s Christmas present was $4,000, I bought my sister a Louis Vuitton handbag for $2,500, and I bought her fiancé a laptop for him to study school with for $3,500,” she told Daily Mail Australia.
“And my nephew just gets whatever he wants, I’ve spent thousands upon thousands on him. And then I just bought stuff for myself, like Louis [Vuitton] bags and Prada bags!”
However, some of Power’s followers were less than impressed.
“I like ye, I’m not the type to put women down, but personally your moneys been handed to you on a plate.. just admit that instead of saying you’ve done hard work… your just lucky and I think we all wish we could be lucky like that,” wrote one.
Another commented: ”No one gives a f**k actually @jessika_power , we all see you flogging your only fans etc. good on you blah blah. But it’s always been tacky to flaunt one’s successes, especially after 3 years of everyone struggling with fires and covid, this is so tone deaf ????????♀️”
One fan said the post had left her heartbroken: “Honestly this is amazing, always clapping for another woman who’s winning but at same time makes me cry when I have $7 in my account and struggling to provide for my little girl…”
Power, who has previously detailed the extraordinary amount of cash she has earned via her adults-only OnlyFans account, fired back at her detractors writing: “Not bragging ???? it’s a TikTok trend ???? calm down.”
And she has the support of the majority of her fans who told her she did not need to defend herself from people who were jealous of her success.
“I’ve also worked hard to get where I am. I appreciate everyone doesn’t get that. I also am very humble with my money and give a lot of it away. Especially to my followers, including my 10,000 Christmas give away ❤️”
The 29-year-old joined OnlyFans earlier this year, revealing she’d earned $50,000 in just five days after joining the subscription-based platform, adding at the time she hadn’t yet “done anything X-rated”.
Four months after signing up she’d earned around $280,000 before tax.
“The amount of money I’ve earned is just ridiculous. I’ve only been on it since August. It’s well past 200,000 US dollars,” Power told KIIS 106.5 host Mitch Churi.
