John Mayer adds Chase Center, 2nd Kia Forum date to acoustic tour

John Mayer is adding more shows to his first-ever solo acoustic tour.

Those fall dates include two more gigs in the Golden State — Nov. 7 at Chase Center in San Francisco and Nov. 10 at the Kia Forum in the Los Angeles area.

Tickets for those two shows go on sale to the general public at 9 a.m. March 31. There is also a presale that runs 9 a.m. March 29 to 10 p.m. March 30. See johnmayer.com for details.

Mayer is also set to perform April 10 at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento as well as another Kia Forum show on April 14.

Mayer is known for such hits as “New Light,” “Gravity,” “Love on the Weekend,” “Heartbreak Warfare,” “Daughters,” “Waiting on the World to Change,” “Last Train Home” and “Your Body Is a Wonderland.”

He’s also known for his work with the Grateful Dead offshoot Dead & Company, which kicks off its farewell tour with a two-night stand at the Kia Forum on May 14-15. The tour concludes with a three-night run, July 14-16, at Oracle Park in San Francisco.
