Johnny Depp’s bodyguard questioned on seeing his penis

Johnny Depp’s former bodyguard left the courtroom in stitches on Thursday after he was asked if he had ever seen the actor’s penis.

During his testimony at Fairfax County Court, Malcolm Connolly was questioned about Johnny, 58, and his ex-wife Amber Heard’s relationship.

Heard’s lawyer asked the bodyguard if the Hollywood actor had been trying to urinate in the foyer of their Australian home during an argument in 2015.

When asked if Johnny “had his penis out”, Connolly remarked: “I think I would remember if I’d seen Mr Depp’s penis”.

The courtroom erupted into laughter, with Johnny trying to stifle his giggles by holding his head in his hand.

Amber, 36, however, did not find the remark amusing.

Malcolm, who initially worked for the actor, his children, and his ex Vanessa Paradis before meeting Amber in 2010, described how the actress was “lovey-dovey” at the beginning of the Hollywood stars’ relationship.

However, he claimed she soon became “feisty” and “demanding”.

He said: “I could see that Amber wanted to wear the pants in the relationship, that was quite obvious.”

Malcolm described several incidents he said he witnessed, claiming to have noticed the actress would throw things at her partner, including a lighter or a can of pop. He also said Johnny would sometimes have scratches to his face.

The guard went on to testify how he felt Johnny was “not happy” on his honeymoon, before adding how his injuries would seemingly become more frequent.

When the court was shown an image from the former couple’s honeymoon on the Orient Express from Bangkok to Singapore – a snap which was allegedly taken by the security guard – it was noted Johnny appeared to have swelling under his eye.

“He’s walked into a door, or a door’s walked into him,” Malcolm said.

He then discussed the incident which left Johnny with a severed finger in 2015, explaining the “chaos” he found as Johnny’s finger was “flapping around”.

The bodyguard testified he urged the actor to leave but claimed how when they got outside Amber shouted: “F*** off, you f****** coward,” adding he thought her behaviour was “crazy”.

During cross examination he admitted he was loyal to Johnny but insisted: “I’d be loyal to you if I was working for you.”

Johnny is suing his former partner for libel over a 2018 article she wrote in The Washington Post, which his lawyers say falsely implies he physically and sexually abused her.

Amber is set to take to the stand next week.

The trial continues.
