The Golden State Warriors and Washington Wizards shook up the NBA landscape on Thursday with a blockbuster trade.
The Warriors acquired legendary point guard Chris Paul in the deal, while the Wizards received young guard Jordan Poole.
With the Wizards not expected to be very competitive this season and Poole having a reputation as a player that takes a lot of shots, many are expecting his scoring output to rise as one of the main potions on a rebuilding team.

The tweet shows an old, unrelated announcement of President Biden saying that there will be 100 COVID shots available within the first 100 days following his inauguration.
Twitter user @sreekyshooter quoted that tweet and added his own flair, comparing Biden’s announcement to Poole’s shot selection.
The Wizards are set to move in a new direction after a series of big trades this week.
With franchise cornerstone Bradley Beal now in Phoenix, Poole will likely be the team’s main scoring option for the foreseeable future.
Poole’s field goal attempts per game have increased every year he’s been in the NBA.
Those increases could be attributed to his growing comfort with the Warriors’ offense, but after the trade he’s likely to be the focal point for the Wizards.
