Jordan Poole and Draymond Green’s physical altercation at practice in the preseason cast a shadow over the Golden State Warriors’ regular season.
Now, with Poole heading to Washington, D.C. to play for the Wizards, he and Green are no longer teammates. It looks like the 24-year-old guard is not too upset by the change.
According to an alert Golden State Warriors fan account on Twitter, Poole appears to have unfollowed Green on Instagram after being traded away on Wednesday.
The Spun did some internet sleuthing of its own and confirmed that as of this writing, Green still follows Poole on IG, though perhaps that will change soon.

After the Warriors were eliminated from the NBA Playoffs by the Los Angeles Lakers in May, Green pointed some of the blame at the punch he threw at his teammate back in October.
“We’re not playing right now because when you speak of all the slippage we had as a team on the road, not being able to come together,” Green said. “Those things don’t happen because of my voice and the department where I lead this team; there was a ton of slippage from me sitting back and not saying anything.
“Me sitting back and allowing that situation to play itself out and giving it time to heal. By February, I started to feel like myself again and speak more, but guess what? That was five months into the season when slippage had been occurring. And by February, you are who you are at that point.”
Let’s just say that the first meeting between the Warriors and Wizards next year will be an interesting one.
