The Italy international joined the Gunners in January from London rivals Chelsea following Arsenal’s failed attempt to sign Moises Caicedo from Brighton.
Jorginho proved a shrewd addition by Mikel Arteta but the club-record purchase of Declan Rice in the summer looked likely to limit the 31-year-old’s first team opportunities.
An injury to Thomas Partey, which is likely to rule the Ghana international out for at least six weeks, is set to hand Jorginho an opportunity after the international break.
Fenerbahce had been linked with a move for Jorginho but he is likely to wait until next summer, when his contract is expires, to make a decision on his future, according to Joao Santos.
‘This year he stays at Arsenal, then we can’t know what will happen next season,’ Santos told Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli.
‘For now he is focused on playing two very important competitions such as the Premier and Champions League with the Gunners.
‘Italy is always in our hearts, never say never. If there is an Italian team that needs Jorginho and his characteristics we will see what will happen.
‘A possible future for Juve? In modern football you can’t say he will be playing for one team or another.
‘We can talk to all the teams looking for a player with his characteristics.’
Partey, meanwhile, is likely to miss upcoming crucial games against Everton, Tottenham, Manchester City and Chelsea with Arteta admitting the situation did not look encouraging in the aftermath of last weekend’s win over Manchester United.
