Julia Fox knows she dresses like Kim Kardashian – but she thinks Kanye West should get credit for their similar styles.
The “Uncut Gems” star shared a myriad of details about her relationship with West on the latest episode of Alexandra Cooper’s “Call Her Daddy” podcast, including the head-to-toe makeover he gave her at the start of their love affair on New Year’s Eve.
West, 44, stocked an entire hotel room filled with $100,000 worth of Diesel clothing for Fox, 32, on their second date. Since then, he’s continued to curate her closet and dress her up in familiar styles previously worn by his estranged ex.
When asked about the comparisons, Fox called them “unfortunate.”
“Well, we’ve worn similar looks, which I knew at the time of wearing them. I knew Kim had worn it previously,” the actress stated.
“If anything, I think the conversation should be like ‘Wow, it’s amazing to see how heavily influenced Kim was by Kanye,” she added, claiming she’s filled the role of West’s current “muse.”
Indeed, Fox has appeared in numerous outfits and brands beloved by 41-year-old Kardashian, including Balenciaga and Rick Owens.
Most recently, Fox stepped out in a high-fashion breastplate which, unsurprisingly, Kardashian sported first.
West continues to beef up Fox’s wardrobe, having gifted her — and her friends — rare Birkin bags for her birthday earlier this month.
No matter who his muse is, it’s safe to say Ye certainly has a type.
