Julia Fox vows to ‘sue’ if she sees another anti-ageing product

Julia Fox has declared that “ageing is in” while also condemning anti-ageing products after reflecting on her previous struggles with turning older.

In a series of posts shared to her TikTok, the Uncut Gems star discussed how upset she felt on her 27th birthday, explaining that she was crying because she had “nothing to celebrate.”

“This is how deep this sh[*]t is for women. In the entertainment industry, thirty is f***ing considered old,’ Julia told her 1.2 TikTok followers on Saturday. “My BFF Harmony, God rest her soul, came and flew in to see me because she knew I’d be taking it really hard. My friends tried to come in my room with candles and cupcakes, and sh[*]t, and I literally was like, ‘Get the f*** out! I told you we’re not celebrating! There’s nothing to celebrate!’ And I was, like, such a tyrant about it because I wanted the day to pass and just have it be…”

Julia continued: “I was like, ‘Don’t post. I don’t want to draw attention to the fact that I’m 27. I just want it to pass by like any other day.’ And that’s sad because Harmony, the girl I was with, she died. She’s not even gonna have the privilege of getting older, you know. So we deny ourselves these milestones for what?”

The mother-of-one also made her frustrations known about the beauty industry, vowing that she would “sue” if she saw another product marked as “anti-ageing”.

“I’m going to sue because I’m going to age regardless of if I put that f[*]cking $500 serum on my face, and you all f[*]cking know it! And we know it, so let’s stop lying to ourselves. Getting old is f[*]cking hot, okay? It is sexy. It is probably the sexiest time in life, actually, because being pretty and hot in your 20s is the f[*]cking trenches, okay? And I’m not going back there.” Preach!

While there’s nothing wrong with using glossy beauty products (if you want to, that is), we can’t commend Julia Fox enough for using her platform to encourage women to reject misogynistic notions about ageing.
