The New York Knicks are on the brink of elimination following Monday’s Game 4 loss to the Miami Heat.
Miami grabbed 13 offensive rebounds during the 109-101 victory. After the game, a reporter asked Julius Randle why the Knicks have struggled to secure loose balls this series after flourishing on hustle plays to beat the Cleveland Cavaliers in the opening round.
“Maybe they want it more,” Randle said. “I don’t know. That’s been who we are all year. We got to find a way to step up and make those plays if we want to keep the season alive.”

He added that the Knicks must “look within” to turn the tides and win the next three games.
The Knicks actually have a higher offensive rebounding rate (26.8%) than the Heat through four games, but they’ve shot worse and committed more turnovers. They earned their only win with Jimmy Butler sidelined.
Randle scored 20 points, but he also committed six turnovers and fouled out Monday night. The All-Star is averaging just 15.9 points per game this postseason and has made four of 18 three-point attempts this series.
New York will look to stay alive when hosting Miami on Wednesday. Game 5 starts at 7:30 p.m. ET on TNT.
