And I was one of the very first lucky Canadians to have had exclusive slurping rights to taste-test Bieber’s latest – and much anticipated — collaboration with Tim Hortons: The Biebs Brew.

Now — I’m not a fan of black coffee in general, regardless if it’s hot or cold, plus I like mine drizzled with milk and a touch of hazelnut flavouring. But, Justin prefers his coffee on ice, which was the deciding factor in his latest collaboration with Tim Hortons. And, after a few long, refreshing gulps of Biebs Brew, I have to admit I was quite taken by the taste, and how smooth it went down, with hints of velvety vanilla and a touch of sweetness on my tongue. I swear I heard Justin’s soft voice crooning Baby in my ear as I took one last sip.

“That’s because the coffee is steeped for 16 hours — it allows the natural flavours of the Arabica coffee beans to come out,” explained Victoria Stewart, Tim Horton’s director of beverage innovation, Canada, during a recent taste-test of Bieb’s coffee. “That sweetness you are tasting is from the coffee beans.”
Was Bieber involved in the process? “From start to finish — this was very much a team effort, headed by Justin,” added Solange Bernard, head of marketing for Tim Hortons. Bernard said the process was a true hands-on event, with much brainstorming between Bieber and the Tims team before Canada’s favourite son put his stamp of approval on the end product.

How does Bieber like to take his iced coffee? “With a nice drizzle of cream!” says Stewart.
To add to the excitement Timbiebs are also making a comeback, albeit for a limited-time only — so look out for those iconic little boxes with the traditional colours of orange and brown, along with the limited-edition, stainless steel Biebs brew tumblers — again co-created with Bieber — coming your way starting June 6.
But better hurry — we suspect there will be a run on them in no time!
