Kaizer Chiefs have secured the services of one of the league’s top midfielders according to reports!

Mduduzi Mdantsane will be heading to Naturena next season after Cape Town City and the Glamour Boys reached an agreement over his transfer.

According to local reports, the longstanding Chiefs transfer target will return to his boyhood club in July.

Kaizer Chiefs tried to sign Mdantsane in January however we unable to get the deal across the line.

Reports suggest Cape Town City exercised their one-year contract extension on the midfielder. This mean Chiefs had to fork out an undisclosed amount of money for Mdantsane!

“Kaizer Chiefs and Cape Town City are understood to have agreed to the transfer of midfielder Mduduzi Mdantsane, in principle, effective 1 July.” – SABC SPORT reported.

“Mdantsane’s contract expires at the end of the current campaign, however, information gathered by SABC Sport reveals City have since exercised his one-year option to avoid losing him on a free contract and being able to sell him to Chiefs.”

In other news, Bonfils-Caleb Bimenyimana may be struggling for game-time at Kaizer Chiefs at the moment, but his past Amakhosi form has earned him a national team call up!

The Burundian striker has struggled to gain momentum at the Glamour Boys after a bright start at the club.

He has eight goals for them this season, and that was enough to impress Burundian coach Etienne Ndayiragije.

The striker was named in Burundi’s squad to face Kenya and Indonesia during the upcoming international window (end of March 2023).
