The former academy coach crashed out of both the MTN8 and Nedbank Cup at the semi-final stages in each competition.
Kaizer Chiefs also finished in fifth position in the DStv Premiership, missing out on both the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederations Cup.
Kaizer Chiefs take big Zwane decision
While many fans called for the sacking of Arthur Zwane, the club have reportedly decided otherwise!
According to the latest transfer reports, Arthur Zwane will remain as head coach at the club next season!

“The meeting sat on Tuesday and after extensive talks, he emerged as the coach and still enjoys the full support of the management. He is safe.” a source told Citizen.
“He understands the job very well. He knows he needs to end the trophy drought and get the team playing attractive football.
“And he is hopeful that when he has his new signings and gets a few strikers, he will be alright.”

In other news, Former Mamelodi Sundowns striker Sandile Ndlovu believes Khanyisa Mayo’s dad was pivotal in blocking a move to neither Kaizer Chiefs nor Mamelodi Sundowns.
Mayo was tipped to join either side after a stellar campaign at Cape Town City.
The striker however decided to extend his stay in Cape Town until 2028!
According to Ndlovu, Patrick Mayo would have played a major role in his son’s career decision…
Mayo Snr blocked Chiefs and Sundowns move?
“If you have a father who played the game, you will never make the same mistakes your father did.” Ndlovu told KickOff regarding the Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns linked man.
“It’s clear the advice came from the father even if he was my son, I would have said good move.
“As for the three-year deal. I think it was proposed by Cape Town City, they wanted to be secured.
“The more he plays for Bafana the more Cape Town City stands to sell him at the right price. Next season he will be worth more. Remember football is a business.
“At this stage, it could have been difficult for him to choose between Kaizer Chiefs, Sundowns and Orlando Pirates.”
