The Glamour Boys have started 2023 in disaster fashion. Arthur Zwane’s side have lost both of their opening matches this year.
To top it off, none of their big name players are showing any sign of carrying the team out of deep waters.

That could soon change for the Glamour Boys as a hot African star looks set to sign for them!
Zwane’s side are in desperate need of goals, and 22-year-old Rangers attacker Christian Saile knows how to find the back of the net.
Saile recently underwent a trial at Naturena, and the Zambian based DR Congo star has reportedly done enough to secure a permanent move to the Soweto giants.

“Zambian-based Democratic Republic of Congo winger/striker Christian Saile looks set to be coming back to South Africa to conclude his deal with Kaizer Chiefs.” an SABC SPORT report read.
“The latest developments are that the two parties are back on the negotiation table. This paves the way for Saile to negotiate personal terms with Chiefs.
“His imminent arrival at Amakhosi would come at a time when the Soweto giants are struggling. Having suffered back-to-back defeats including Friday night’s humiliating 4-0 defeat in the Dstv Premiership against AmaZulu.”
The agent of former Kaizer Chiefs star Njabulo Blom has opened up on the tense negotiation process he went through at the club prior to his player’s departure.
Blom’s agent Rob Moore took centre stage after he publicly slammed the miserly Amakhosi management during negotiations.

As reported by The South African website previously, Kaizer Chiefs were not willing to offer Blom a respectable salary on his contract extension.
And now, after securing a blockbuster move to MLS side St Louis for Njabulo Blom, Moore has detailed his client’s Amakhosi exit.
While Chiefs were happy to send their star man abroad IF an opportunity arose. There were issues regarding his salary IF his agent couldn’t secure him a club overseas before the end of the season.

“There was give and take. Where the difference of opinion came in was on the extra years, on the additional time and pay rise.” the ex Kaizer Chiefs star’s agent said as quoted by IdiskiTimes.
“What I perceived to be market-related and what they were offering was two different things. That was at that point in time the issue on the economic differences that we had August/September time.
“But Njabulo was always clear to me that he wanted to play abroad and Chiefs were always clear that they wanted to try and accommodate him if an opportunity came abroad.”
