Superstar Shah Rukh Khan celebrated his 56th birthday yesterday (November 2). The actor, who did not come out to greet his fans outside his home Mannat this year, was showered with a lot of love from fans and industry colleagues on social media.
While Shah Rukh’s close friends like Karan Johar, Juhi Chawla, Manish Malhotra, among others posted wishes for the star, what caught netizens’ attention was that Kajol did not wish her friend and colleague of many years on Instagram.
Now, during an Ask Me Anything (AMA) session on Instagram, one fan asked Kajol why she did not wish Shah Rukh on his birthday. The fan wrote, “Why you didn’t wish SRK?”
To this, Kajol replied through a video message, “What more can I wish him? I think all his wishes came true when his son (Aryan Khan) came back home.”
Meanwhile, Shah Rukh’s daughter Suhana celebrated his 56th birthday by sharing cute throwback pictures of her with her father. Taking to her Instagram stories, Suhana shared a childhood picture featuring her with SRK. In the monochrome snap, a toddler Suhana could be seen kissing her dad on what seems like a movie set. Suhana’s mother Gauri could also be seen in the backdrop.
Sharing the picture, Suhana wrote, “Happy birthday,” with a beating heart emoticon. Apart from Suhana, Madhuri Dixit, Anushka Sharma, Karisma Kapoor, among several others also shared their birthday wishes for SRK.
On the work front, SRK, who was last seen in Aanand L Rai’s ‘Zero’, has been shooting for ‘Pathan’ which co-stars Deepika Padukone and apparently, John Abraham too. The film has grabbed many eyeballs as it will also feature an extended cameo of Salman Khan.
