Twitterati had earlier found a direct connect between the political developments in Maharashtra and Kangana Ranaut. Now, the actress has spoken up on Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray’s resignation from his position as the chief minister of Maharashtra. The actress shares a video where in Hindi she says, “Democracy is all about faith and anyone who gets drunk on power will face downfall.” Even the caption of the video has a message in Hindi that says, “When evil grows, destruction is inevitable. And then begins creation.” She also wrote, “And the lotus of life blooms.”
Kangana has also referred to God Hanuman and the recitation of Hanuman Chalisa. The actress said, “Hanuman ji is considered the 12th avatar of Lord Shiva. And when Shiv Sena bans Hanuman Chalisa, even Shiva himself can’t save them. Har Har Mahadev. Jai Hind, Jai Maharashtra.”

In 2020, Kangana had called out Uddhav Thackeray and expressed her anger when BMC had demolished a part of her office citing defiance of structural norms. In a tweet she wrote, “You should be ashamed of yourself chief minister, being a public servant you are indulging in petty fights, using your power to insult, damage and humiliate people who don’t agree with you, you don’t deserve the chair you have acquired by playing dirty politics. SHAME.”
In another tweet she said, “Uddhav Thackeray tujhe kya lagta hai? (what do you think?) My home was demolished today, your arrogance will crumble tomorrow. Thus is the wheel of time, it keeps changing.”
