Kanye West’s girlfriend Julia Fox denies copying Kim Kardashian’s look

Julia Fox does not care for people suggesting she copies Kim Kardashian ‘s style.

Kanye West ‘s current beau recently appeared on Instagram in a striking blue chest mold, drawing comparisons to a nearly-identical piece the rapper’s estranged wife wore previously.

But in a follow up post, Julia, 32, pointed out she wore the striking ensemble months before Kim, 41, ever donned a similar piece.

“FYI I wore this on Halloween 2021 and I was supposed to be a slutty Smurf. I forgot to post it. PS. The Breast Plate is by @JacqueLabel,” the Uncut Gems actress wrote, putting an end to any suggestions of copying.

The Jacque Label, renowned for their eye-catching breast molds, re-posted Julia’s throwback Halloween snap to their own Instagram Story.

Kim – who is still in the process of divorcing Kanye – first wore a similar piece last month as part of her new campaign for her fragrance line.

While Julia may have got there first with the chest molds, Kanye – now legally known as Ye – has been accused of dressing his new girlfriend in a similar fashion to how he styled Kim.

Speaking in the past, the Donda rapper has been upfront about how styling his romantic interests is his very own “language of love”.

“I’d be styling Kim, that’s a language of love for me. That how I bagged her in the first place,’ the dad-of-four said in November last year.

“I pulled up, I had the Balmains and the jackets and stuff, I pull the jackets and the shoes,” the Yeezy founder added.

Julia – who began dating Ye on New Year’s Eve – has been admitted in interviews that her new beau has been overhauling her wardrobe.

“After meeting him, a couple days later, all my sh*t was in boxes, gone. It was so cathartic,” the mum-of-one told Interview Magazine last month.

“It wasn’t like I was just packing up my old clothes, it was like I was packing up my old life. I was like making that very conscious decision to really put everything in the box. To let go of the past.”

Kanye’s shopping spree for his new beau is very similar to an experience he had with soon-to-be ex-wife Kim.

In a 2012 episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, the Grammy award-winner gave his then-girlfriend a major wardrobe overhaul with the help of his stylist at the time, Renelou Padora.

“Kanye has definitely inspired me to be a little bit more of an individual. I think my style is just evolving and changing and I think it should because that is what life is about,” Kim confessed during the episode.

“He is a fashion designer and he loves clothes so I’m excited to collaborate with him to see what his take on fashion is.”

In 2015, mum-of-four Kim credited Kanye with helping her “fall in love with fashion” by filling her closet with new stylish pieces.

“I walked in my room and there was an entire room filled with all new clothes and all the stuff he wanted to fill back up my closet with and it was really cool new designers –– I hadn’t even heard of some of these designers before,” the trainee lawyer explained on Live with Kelly and Michael.

“It really helped me fall in love with fashion and I eventually did get rid of most of that stuff and my style has totally evolved and changed but I didn’t see it at the time, I had to work it out myself.”
