Kardashian lawyer says Blac Chyna’s bias claim is an ‘effort to save face’

Blac Chyna, whose real name is Angela White, began dating Rob in 2016 and within three months the pair announced their engagement and the couple got their own spin-off show after her pregnancy was announced.

Following a rollercoaster relationship between the two they officially split not long after their daughter Dream Kardashian was born.

In documents seen by PA, lawyers for the Kardashian family said that Blac Chyna’s attempt to ‘make a scapegoat’ of judge Gregory Alarcon were ‘frivolous’ and ‘dishonest.’

According to the document Blac Chyna had called judge Alarcon’s attitude ‘undeniably hostile and extremely biased’.

The family’s lawyers continued to say that Blac Chyna’s recent statement and sworn declaration of disqualification is “a baseless effort to save face after losing at trial and is devoid of any legal basis to disqualify Judge Alarcon from presiding over further matters in this occasion.”

“While Plaintiff and her counsel Lynne Ciani are understandably disappointed about the jury’s defence verdict following an emotionally charged trial, their effort to make a scapegoat of Judge Alarcon is frivolous, dishonest, and deserving of sanctions.”

The documents also added that Blac Chyna had adopted a ‘wait and see’ approach as she had filed the motion to disqualify judge Alarcon only after the verdict against her had been returned.

In her court documents Blac Chyna stated: “Rob Kardashian is an abuser intent on destroying Angela White, the mother of his baby, who left him in 2016. In revenge, the Kardashian-Jenner family became media predators, slut-shaming her on social media and killing her hit television show, which had already begun filming a second season.

“Rob Kardashian and his powerful, vindictive family have done enough damage to Ms. White’s career and professional reputation, which she singlehandedly built from scratch – without the help of a famous last name. This lawsuit seeks to hold them accountable.”
