Kareena Kapoor mourns the death of Lisa Marie Presley

Lisa Marie Presley died at the age of 54, following a cardiac arrest. Her mother, Prescilla Presley announced the news.

According to a report in the New York Times, a representative for Prescilla Presley, Sam Mast, in an statement said, “Priscilla Presley and the Presley family are shocked and devastated by the tragic death of their beloved Lisa Marie.” The statement further added, “They are profoundly grateful for the support, love and prayers of everyone, and ask for privacy during this very difficult time.”

Lisa Marie Presley was known for following the path of her late father. She released a few albums and also contributed to humanitarian work during her lifetime. Her last public appearance was at the 80th Golden Globes Awards. She attended the Golden Globes with her mother. The late singer also celebrated the birth anniversary of her late father, Elvis Presley, with fans, a few days before her death, in their hometown.

Lisa Marie Presley is survived by her three daughters, Riley Keough, and twins Harper and Finley Lockwood, including her mother, Prescilla Presley.
