“But she said: ‘Don’t tell me anything, I don’t want to hear.’ She got to a point where she was like ‘No it’s okay, I’ve got it, I’m going to figure it out.'”
When asked whether she forgot who she was acting with sometimes, Kate added: “Everything was very blurry in terms of what was real and what wasn’t, and whether we were acting or whether we weren’t.
“We are playing characters, these people aren’t us and this isn’t our story.
“But for sure, one can’t help but draw on personal experience here and there, whether that’s your own stuff or something you’ve gone through with a friend or a family member.”
