Katie Price surprises Harvey with Christmas presents
Katie Price has revealed that a sense of shock came over her when she discovered that her son, Harvey, ‘smashed up’ his TV, computer and lights in his room at college.
The former glamour model, who shares Harvey, 19, with ex-boyfriend Dwight Yorke, has revealed that she’s not upset with her son because his actions mean that he feels ‘extremely settled’ in his new surroundings.
Harvey, who lives with complex health conditions including autism, blindness and Prader-Willi syndrome has previously caused damage in his own home, and the home which he shared with his famous mum.
Harvey secured a place at National Star residential college in Cheltenham earlier this year, and he has been living independently away from Katie and his four siblings for months now.
Katie lifted the lid on Harvey’s outburst in a recent interview with OK! Magazine where she admitted that she felt relieved that Harvey was smashing his belongings because it means that he feels comfortable and content in his new surroundings.

“I said to the staff at the college, ‘I’m so happy that he’s done all this because now I know he’s really settling in’,” the proud mum-of-five explained.
Katie went on to reveal that Harvey is in safe hands at the college as the staff look after him around the clock.
“They are now living and breathing what I’ve had all of these years,” she added.
Katie had made it her priority to head to the Cheltenham college every weekend to be with Harvey, after she admitted that she misses him terribly now that he’s living away from her for the very first time.

However, following her drink-drive crash back in September, Katie has spent some time in rehab and her driving licence has been revoked after she was found driving under the influence and without insurance.
As a result, she now faces weeks without seeing Harvey as she knows she will be off the road for ‘a long time’.
“It’s been hard. Before I felt better knowing that I was getting my driving licence back in December so I could drive to him whenever I wanted,” Katie explained.
“Now, I’m trying to get my head around the fact that I’m going to be banned from driving for a long time. It’s hard, but I know Harvey is happy there,” she added.

Katie is due to appear in court on December 15 to be sentenced following her drink-drive crash.
The star has shared her hopes of spending Christmas with Harvey at her ‘mucky mansion’ in Horsham as she awaits the sentencing.
The mum-of-five says she will be without her other children this year and plans on spending the festivities with fiancé Carl Woods and her 19-year-old son.
Katie said she is looking forward to a quiet Christmas with her loved ones after a tumultuous year.

“The plan is that Harvey will be home for Christmas and New Year. It will be me, Harvey and Carl.
“I don’t have the other kids this year as it’s their dads’ turns because I had them last year,” she told OK! magazine.
“And then obviously I’ll see my mum and my family. We’ll be at my house in Horsham – I’m back here for good and I’m loving it.”
