Kazakhstan wins Asian Arm Wrestling Championship

AJMAN, 3rd May, 2023 (WAM) — Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad bin Saif Al Sharqi, the President of the Emirates Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation, presented the Kazakhstan team with the first-place award at the 21st Asian Arm Wrestling Championship for winning 11 gold medals for men and eight gold medals for women.

The closing ceremony of the five-day championship was held at the Bahi Ajman Palace Hotel and was attended by 500 competitors from 16 Asian countries.

Sheikh Abdullah congratulated the UAE competitors for their impressive performance at the championship, particularly Abdullah Al Sharari who earned two gold and one silver medal.

Kyrgyzstan took second place, followed by Uzbekistan, Iran, India, and Syria.
