MANILA, Philippines—Despite a strong showing from Rhenz Abando, Anyang KGC’s winning streak ended at 10 games after bowing to the Seoul SK Knights, 74-73, in the Korean Basketball League at Jamsil Students’ Gymnasium on Sunday.

Abando finished with 19 points on a blistering 80 percent shooting from the field. He also collected with two rebounds, two assists, two steals and a block in a losing effort.

Omari Spellman’s 20-point also went down the drain for Anyang, which dropped to a 33-12 record.

Jameel Warney was the catalyst of the SK Knights’ streak-breaking win with a double-double outing of 25 points and 13 boards.

Over at Daegu Gymnasium, the KOGAS Pegasus squeaked past Jeonju KCC Egis, 81-79, but SJ Belangel’s struggles continued.

Belangel, who played 14 minutes as a starter, ended up scoreless and had three assists and two steals for Daegu.

Lee Dae-Sung registered 19 markers and five dimes en route to the Pegasus victory that improved them to 14-28 for the season.

Ricardo Ratcliffe scored 25 points for the KCC Egis.
