One thing about Keke Palmer, our meme queen (let’s journey back to the ‘Sorry to this man’ line), is that she will tell any story with the more hilarious spin. The ‘Nope’ actress has always had a knack of using satire to open up discussions on issues that matter. Most recently she spoke candidly in front of her 11.2 Million Instagram followers, barefaced, about her adult acne.
She playfully joked about the fact that health science and technology have advanced so much that you can get plastic surgery that will transform your entire body shape in hours. However, somehow they still haven’t figured out how to help people with cystic acne.
While praising the advances made in plastic surgery, Keke Palmer says: “I was just thinking about the fact that plastic surgeons are amazing, OK? They can give you a boob job, above the muscle, under the muscle, liposuction, a tummy tuck, a BBL, they can even implant muscles. I mean, the list goes on, but they cannot figure out how to clear up somebody’s acne?”
She then hilariously adds: “All these years and all these inventions, you can’t figure out how to take the beautiful skin from my ass and put it on my face?”

Her delivery and cadence quite clearly resonated with many, including celebrities, some of who also shared their input. There seems to be a mutual agreement about the fact that a plastic surgery procedure to cure adult acne in an instant is long overdue. Celebrity hairstylist Angela C Styles said: “same sis same! Im over this emotional roller coaster” while actress and stunt woman Carrie Bernans “Lol we feel you! ????Appreciate your vulnerability. ♥️ Praying for your breakthrough.” Others simply referred Keke to their favourite dermatologists.
This is not the first time the star of the iconic Akeelah and the Bee movie has spoken out about her struggles with acne. In fact, back in September, Keke had posted another makeup free selfie while speaking openly about her PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome) diagnosis of which some of the symptoms include adult acne and facial hair.
