It’s not every day that we see a celebrity we admire take to their social media platforms to shine light on the conversation surrounding adult acne. Leave it to Keke Palmer to ask the skin-care questions a lot of us are wondering as well — in the most lighthearted and honest way.
On August 10, Palmer took to her Instagram page to share a humorous video requesting doctors develop an aesthetic cure for adult acne. “Plastic surgeons are amazing,” she says. “All of these years and all of these inventions — boob jobs, above the muscle, under the muscle, tummy tuck, BBL, even implanted muscles — but you can’t figure out how to take the beautiful skin from my ass and put it on my face? I’m tired of it, I’m done with it, people out here with adult acne are struggling and you ain’t figured out that cure?”

It’s a frustration we feel, too. And in the caption, Palmer writes that she’s so fed up she will “put her house on the market to pay, whatever it takes.” It’s a philanthropic endeavor you can’t help but support.
This is not the first time Palmer has been honest with skin struggles — she was diagnosed with Poly Cystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) in 2020 after dealing with symptoms for years. “For some of you this may be TMI, but for me my platform has always been used for things much greater than me. Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome has been attacking me from the inside out my entire life and I had no idea,” she wrote on Instagram at the time.
